FVCKRENDER LVCIDIA
NFT Art Transcends the Digital Gallery Walls

PHNTM collaborated with FVCKRENDER, a self-taught digital artist known for surreal, dream-focused work, to create the first curated NFT-based art show in an upscale gallery setting. The challenge was seamlessly blending digital and physical worlds to mirror the ethereal, neon-fueled aesthetics of FVCKRENDER's expansive LVCIDIA project. The goal was transforming traditional gallery conventions into a future-forward immersive experience where art transcends digital boundaries.

Approach

We transformed Studio 252's large central space and auxiliary rooms into different aspects of the FVCKRENDER brand experience. Using Unreal Engine, our 3D team created multiple gallery layouts with a centerpiece 360-degree video and audio immersive experience. High-level 3D projection and spatial audio transported attendees into LVCIDIA's animated landscape. Backlit ultra HD monitors displayed NFTs beyond digital screens, bringing them into high-quality viewable form within the physical space.

Impact

The sold-out event generated extensive excitement with crowds lining up around the block. What began as an immersive art gallery evolved into a live event featuring Steve Aoki, DJ Tokimonsta, and FVCKRENDER himself. Overwhelming response led to an impromptu venue shift to House of Yes, where festivities continued with live DJ sets. The event marked a new era in gallery experiences, successfully merging digital and physical realms in a visually and audibly stunning spectacle that redefined art consumption.
