Intel sought to showcase modern AI capabilities through interactive art installations at Microsoft Ignite. Partnering with Sounds Fun, they needed a creative gallery experience that would demonstrate AI's potential beyond traditional tech demonstrations. The challenge was creating engaging, accessible installations that would captivate conference attendees and differentiate Intel from standard convention exhibitions.
We curated three groundbreaking artists—Alex Reben, Si Parmeggiani, and Mattaniah Aytenfsu—each exploring different AI iterations. Our team crafted custom AI models: real-time haiku generation via ChatGPT, touchscreen-responsive future product imaging, and presence-activated abstract visuals. We designed an industrial workspace aesthetic with exposed wires and a central operation desk, creating an immersive creative laboratory.
The gallery became the convention's standout attraction, drawing over 500 visitors to experience cutting-edge AI art. We achieved the first-ever public deployment of Dall-E 3, debuting just days before the event. The installations generated significant excitement for Intel and Microsoft teams, demonstrating AI's creative potential and establishing a foundation for future artistic collaborations and project iterations.
