At the heart of Brooklyn's pulsating nightlife, PHNTM and Red Bull crafted "Enigma 185", a futuristic soiree where artificial intelligence took center stage. Navigating an eleventh-hour venue switch, PHNTM reimagined the Avant Gardner as a digital realm, merging cutting-edge tech with immersive arts. This unforgettable affair was more than just a party; it was a tribute to NYC's service industry, offering a respite from the ordinary in an AI-driven world, and it received resounding acclaim from the community it celebrated.
Faced with a venue change just 30 days before the event, PHNTM had to quickly adapt the creative concept originally designed for the Jane Hotel to fit the Avant Gardner in Brooklyn. The event, part of Red Bull's Red Monday series, aimed to offer NYC's service industry workers a memorable escape from routine.
Drawing inspiration from Alan Turing, the father of AI, PHNTM conceived "Enigma 185," a party atmosphere ruled by artificial intelligence. PHNTM developed a narrative and aesthetic revolving around AI, including a teaser video and RSVP website.
PHNTM transformed the Avant Gardner into an immersive AI world, complete with three distinct lounges - Byte, Cura, and Nexus. Through the integrated use of LED walls, panels, and projectors, we created hologram displays and LED arrays, giving the impression that AI was hosting the event. Custom content ranged from neon-futuristic portrayals to digital AI representations. Interactive installations included AI Integration Stations and live performance art in partnership with House of Yes.
The Enigma 185 event offered NYC service industry professionals a unique and memorable experience, seamlessly blending the futuristic with the familiar. Attendees interacted with AI, experienced immersive installations, and partied in a unique environment that pushed the boundaries of traditional event experiences.
