WYE Entertainment challenged PHNTM to actualize a unique collaboration between digital artist Micah Johnson and fashion brand Who Decides War. Our mission was blending high-fashion with digital art, creating a captivating scene inspired by Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet altar scene, with Aku as our digital Juliet. This collaboration showcased fashion's digital frontier and the future of customizable NFTs.
We meticulously recreated the Romeo + Juliet altar scene within Unreal Engine, adorning the initial Aku model with intricate 3D textiles inspired by Who Decides War's concept art. We integrated real-world neon signs and created detailed floral arrangements with custom fabric simulations. Our environment featured thoughtful lighting design, particle effects, smoke, and falling flower petals for dynamic viewer experiences.
The collaboration bridged real-world branding and metaverse realms, introducing the world to Akutars while promoting Aku's inspirational message. Vogue Runway lauded the project for exemplifying that fashion can be both generous and values-driven. This groundbreaking work demonstrated the potential for future metaverse collaborations, showcasing fashion as a canvas for boundless creativity in the digital era.
