Intimate Concert Becomes Nationwide IMAX Event
Grammy award-winning artist Brandi Carlile needed to debut her album "In The Canyon Haze" with an unprecedented live IMAX concert experience. PHNTM was challenged with creating a unique, immersive event broadcasting live from Los Angeles' Laurel Canyon neighborhood to over 100 IMAX theaters nationwide. Working closely with director Sam Wrench, we translated Carlile's vibrant music and atmospheric Laurel Canyon setting into a live cinematic spectacle. Using IMAX-certified digital cameras, we captured performances with utmost fidelity to transport nationwide audiences directly into the intimate venue. The broadcast featured songs from her new deluxe album plus a special rendition of David Bowie's "Space Oddity."
