AI-Driven Party Celebrates NYC Service Workers
Red Bull's Red Monday series needed an unforgettable escape for NYC's service industry workers, but faced a venue change just 30 days before the event. PHNTM had to quickly adapt the creative concept originally designed for the Jane Hotel to fit Avant Gardner in Brooklyn, creating a futuristic celebration that would offer memorable respite from routine while honoring nightlife professionals.

Drawing inspiration from Alan Turing, we conceived "Enigma 185," a party atmosphere ruled by artificial intelligence. We transformed Avant Gardner into an immersive AI world featuring three distinct lounges—Byte, Cura, and Nexus. Using LED walls, panels, and projectors, we created hologram displays and arrays that gave the impression AI was hosting. Interactive installations included AI Integration Stations and live performance art.
Enigma 185 successfully offered NYC service industry professionals a unique experience blending futuristic technology with familiar party atmosphere. Attendees interacted with AI, experienced immersive installations, and partied in environments that pushed traditional event boundaries. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with venue owners calling it an "unforgettable moment" for staff who needed celebration after challenging times.
