A Mythical Celebration of Pride Through Art
Red Bull Curates' first-ever Pride event challenged PHNTM to create an unforgettable, inclusive celebration for Columbus Pride 2022. We needed to design and execute a unique immersive experience combining cutting-edge scenic design, in-world performers, local artisans, and top-tier entertainment that would honor the LGBTQ+ community while creating something transcendent beyond traditional party boundaries.

Inspired by LGBTQ+ community diversity, we created a rose-gold discotech garden party plucked from Mount Olympus. At The Forum Columbus, we completely overhauled the venue with custom engineered rigging, redesigned balconies, sprawling fabric drapes, and faux greenery. We crafted imaginative interactive elements including an edible wall treatment, Ambrosia-flavored ice cream, and a custom-built drag salon.
Ambrosia transported guests to a whimsical, peach-colored aesthetic world through art assets inspired by ancient Greek and Roman mythology, mesmerizing lighting, and engaging digital content. The event provided unforgettable experiences and photo opportunities at every corner, with the custom drag salon becoming a standout hit. The celebration successfully fused art, history, and inclusivity into a transcendent LGBTQ+ community tribute.
