Projection-Mapped Flower Blooms Over Audience
FIFA and Qatar Tourism needed Qatar Live 2021 to be their most significant event of the year in connection to the Arab Cup. The challenge was completely reimagining the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, elevating the on-site experience, and creating production quality that had never been achieved before in Qatar. The event needed to blend the fervor of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup with rich Qatari culture while setting new benchmarks for live entertainment in the region.

We conceptualized a unique event footprint within the 5.5 million-square-meter venue, featuring a bespoke stage, custom entry point with branded photo activations, and vast performance hall accommodating a full orchestra pit. The visually stunning centerpiece, "The Flower," became the room's focal point with 92 projection-mapped petals and three concentric lighting rings. Despite venue challenges including a porous roof design, we installed a grounded support system requiring 482 rigging points and five days of installation.
Qatar Live 2021 provided a unique concert experience over 20 days for 17,500 audience members, becoming a trailblazing production that enhanced the FIFA Arab Cup celebration while setting new benchmarks for live events in Qatar. The audio-visual symphony resonated with Doha's heartbeat, showcasing our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions at any scale. The success demonstrated how immersive design could elevate cultural celebrations and position Qatar as a destination for world-class entertainment experiences.
