Stadium Spectacle Blends Culture & Sport
In preparation for the first FIFA World Cup™ in the Middle East, PHNTM was tasked with delivering an unforgettable stage and show production for the Lusail Super Cup at Qatar's largest stadium. The project needed to effectively utilize the 80,000-capacity venue, setting the stage for a championship match between Saudi Pro League and Egyptian Premier League winners, followed by a grand concert performance.

Inspired by Lusail Stadium's fanar lantern design and Arab-Islamic art motifs, we harmonized stage production with the venue's architectural prowess. We blended modern stage technology with cultural aesthetics, creating an immersive experience for global audiences. Our team coordinated across Qatar stakeholders, engineering lighting, special effects, and production elements that aligned with the stadium's magnificence.
The Lusail Super Cup welcomed 77,575 fans for a memorable evening celebrating both football and music. Our production elevated Al Hilal vs Zamalek's championship match and highlighted Egyptian superstar Amr Diab's concert performance. The successful delivery set a high standard for the upcoming FIFA World Cup™, showcasing our ability to execute complex, large-scale productions that honor cultural heritage.
