Following the monumental success of Martin Garrix's ANIMA show in Amsterdam, PHNTM faced the challenge of transforming this grand spectacle into a tourable format for a European tour. The task was packing the grandeur and complexity of the original show into two trucks while hitting 19 cities across Europe. Maintaining the essence and impact of the original performance while adapting to varying venue sizes and logistical constraints presented considerable creative and technical challenges.
PHNTM partnered with Unlimited Productions to rethink ANIMA for the road, prioritizing key visual and thematic elements from the original show. Our production experts engaged in meticulous planning to scale down larger-than-life sets, lighting, video, and lasers into portable yet captivating components. We employed innovative techniques to optimize load-in and load-out processes for efficiency, ensuring each element fit within the two designated trucks through streamlined operations.
Despite challenges, the ANIMA EU Truck Tour received overwhelming acclaim, preserving the essence and excitement of the original show. Over 19 performances, European audiences experienced the tourable version without losing the wonder of the initial spectacle. The tour demonstrated PHNTM's capabilities in transforming grand visions into portable realities, extending the ANIMA experience to fans across Europe while proving that ambitious shows can be successfully adapted for the road through ingenuity and attention to detail.
